K 2019 is just around the corner and of course SIGMA Engineering will be exhibiting. In hall 13 at booth B31 we are welcoming all visitors under the motto “SIGMAinteract – Autonomous Optimization connects departments”. Highlights of the presentation at the SIGMA booth will be the latest release SIGMASOFT^® Version 5.3 and the new software SIGMAinteract^®.

SIGMASOFT^® v5.3

Besides many additional new developments and improvements, Version 5.3 of SIGMASOFT^® Virtual Molding includes the following key functionalities:

• Export to SIGMAinteract^® – interactive visualization and sharing of results in 3D independent of a SIGMASOFT^® license
• Rotation Mold – the fast and easy way to simulate 2K-processes with an index plate tool
• Cost calculator – to not only make it easier to provide a first estimation of the cost per part in the final production, but also to easily show how these costs change with adaptations of the part, mold or process

Additionally, the new version includes further improvements of the shrinkage and warpage calculation, as well as a Network Batch Queue to better utilize the available computing power when working on several computers.

SIGMAinteract^®

SIGMA’s motto for the show is also reflected in a fully new booth concept which is based on the SIGMASOFT^® parallel coordinates result. The result helps users to make further adjustments on variables and objectives defined for a Virtual DoE or Autonomous Optimization, thus allowing to assess the results in more detail in discussion with colleagues or project partners.

For this reason, the parallel coordinates – besides all SIGMASOFT^® 3D results – can be shared with customers and colleagues independent of a SIGMASOFT^® license – via the new SIGMAinteract^®.  This new software boosts the project communication between all departments involved in a project, as well as suppliers and customers, as the interactive result visualization creates the basis for sound decisions. Starting with SIGMASOFT^® v5.3 all 3D results can be exported to be shared with SIGMAinteract^®.
